Content and video producer
We publish guides, research and short video about what these systems do and where their limits are. You make that material: filmed, cut, written and checked, in a voice that explains and never oversells.
The work
- Film and edit short video for social channels, start to finish.
- Turn one article or paper into a reel, a post and a thread.
- Write and edit articles to the site’s rules: plain words, checked sources, no hype.
- Keep a calendar of what is going out, and what each piece was made from.
What you bring
- A reel or a channel that shows your editing.
- Clean, plain writing about technical subjects.
- Your own camera, sound and editing setup, and a base in Calgary for filming.
How the contract works
- A written scope
- Every project starts from a written scope: what is to be delivered and by when.
- Your rate, by the hour
- You are paid by the hour at a rate agreed before you start, and you invoice for the hours worked.
- Your own business
- You are an independent contractor. You use your own tools, decide how the work gets done, and look after your own taxes.
- Project by project
- A contract covers one project. It is not a promise of further work, and you are free to work for others.
- Client data stays put
- Work happens in the client’s own accounts, with the least access the task needs, under a confidentiality agreement.
