The work, in your words

The front desk answers the phone while checking in a patient while a fax comes in. Calls go to voicemail at lunch and after hours, and the morning starts with a backlog of callbacks about appointments, prescriptions and results. The same questions take the same minutes every day, and the figures the clinic manager needs each week are pulled together by hand from three places.

Fit

How it fits what you already run

We work with the clinic management or electronic record system, the phone system and the email your clinic already runs. Where the clinic system allows an integration we use it; where it does not, the system prepares a note for staff to enter.

Works with tools such as

  • Twilio
  • Outlook
  • Microsoft Teams
With your people

What stays with your people

  • Every clinical question, and anything that sounds urgent.
  • Prescriptions, results and any decision about a patient’s care.
  • Every call the system cannot handle with confidence.
Obligations

Your obligations, handled in the open

How we work, not legal advice
  1. 01

    Health information

Health privacy law sets strict rules on who may collect, see and store patient information, and where it may be kept. We process it only where you approve, keep it only as long as agreed, and never use it to train models for anyone else. Canadian hosting is available.

  2. 02

    Custodianship

Your clinic is the custodian of its records. Every automated action is logged with the input it used, access uses a dedicated account with the least permission needed, and you get a data map before anything is built.

  3. 03

    Patient contact

Patients who call hear that they have reached an automated assistant and that the call may be recorded, in the words you approve. This is how we work, not legal advice. Your organisation and your counsel decide how your obligations apply.

Limits

What we do not do

  • Give medical advice, triage a symptom or decide urgency on its own.
  • Make calls to anyone who has not agreed to receive them.
  • Change a clinical record without a person’s sign-off.
  • Replace your clinic management or electronic record system.
FAQ

Questions we are asked

What happens if a caller describes an emergency?

The call is passed to a person at once by the path you set, and the caller is told to call emergency services. The system does not assess symptoms.

Can it book appointments?

It can take the request, check what your rules allow and prepare the booking for your staff, or complete it where your clinic system permits and you approve.

Where is patient data processed?

Where you approve. You get a data map before anything is built, and Canadian hosting is available.

Do patients know they are talking to a system?

Yes. The greeting says so, in the words you approve, and a person is one request away.

Tell us about one workflow that eats your team’s week.

Fifteen minutes on a call. We ask about the work, and we tell you plainly whether a system fits.
